FINANCING FOREIGN TRADE

In 1991, the new economic policy was introduced in India. It is known as the LPG – Liberalisation, Privatisation and Globalisation.The introduction of this policy led to the increase in International trade. There are various sources of finances which guarantee to provide with finance help to the individuals involved in Foreign Trade. In order to take finance help from banks, they provide the borrower with the short, medium- and long-term finance. By fulfilling all the terms and conditions and by following rules, banks agree to finance Foreign Trade of the participant. Various facilities are also offered by the Commercial banks in India.



Interestingly, concessions and priority facilities are provided to the established Exporter through Gold card’. The eligibility and features of the gold card are explained in this session. The webinar session explains in details about how banks are processed to finance Foreign Trade and other schemes.

Foreign Trade stands as the backbone for most important Logistics businesses. The financing of such trade is done through various sources. Letter of credit can be issued to trusted business organisations. Various other sources for funding the foreign trade are also available. The Importer and Exporter can choose from them accordingly. These documents come handy in processes such as Customs Clearance.

He organised number of training programmers and gave lectures in International Business at various training institutes.
